Double-click a trading instrument in the Market Watch window.

Specify the volume in lots.
From the Type drop-down menu, select Market Execution or Instant Execution (availability depends on your account types).
If necessary, set stop loss (SL) and take profit (TP); they can be edited after opening an order.
Click "sell" or "buy".
To close a position, select it in the Trade window and click Close Position.

Pending order:

Double-click a trading instrument in the Market Watch window.
Specify the volume in lots.
For MT4: Select a pending order from the list in the Type drop-down list, then select a new type from the drop-down list that appears.
For MT5: Click the command type drop-down list at the top of the window and select the specific pending order type from the list.
Fill in the required fields for your pending order type.
If necessary, set the stop loss (SL) and take profit (TP) levels, as well as the expiration time of the pending order.
Click "Place". Your pending order will appear in the Transactions tab.
